SUPERGIRL: "RESIST"
Logline: ""When her time-traveling future self warns Supergirl that a presidential candidate is going to lead the world to ruin, Supergirl must decide if she can bring herself to kill a man for crimes he has yet to commit." The script is not-so-subtly inspired by the election of Donald Trump, but it also deals with a larger philosophical theme, sometimes known as the "Baby Hitler" question. Is killing baby Hitler okay? How far can you go to stop a monster before you become a monster? |
Logline: "Two of Joss Whedon's most popular creations face off in a no holds barred Battle Royale! The mysterious cosmic entity known as the Grandmaster has chosen Buffy's Scooby Gang and Cauldron's S.H.I.E.L.D. unit to represent their dimensions in the "Contest of Champions" (the Grandmaster's phrase, not mine). The winners live, the losing dimension gets wiped out of the existence. Who will win? Who will lose? Who will make fun of Spike's hair? Find out below..."

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: "THE SCHOOL"
Logline: "In the tension-filled city of New Caprica, the Cylons have built a school for their human residents. Some see it as a new beginning, a fresh start after years of war. Others see it as a target." In addition to being a writing sample, this spec script was written to clear up one of the unanswered questions of the show, namely how Sharon "Boomer" Valerii went from a human-loving peace advocate to Calvin's most devoted anti-human ally and lover. I hope you enjoy the read! |

ONCE UPON A TIME: "SONS OF ODIN" (CO-WRITTEN BY ELANA PISANI)
Logline: "When the norse villain Loki is accused of murder in Storybrooke, no one is surprised. After all, his murder of Balder was foretold over a century ago. But when the evidence contradicts the prophecy, Emma and David must put aside their preconceptions and unearth the truth behind this hideous crime." |
|
SITCOM: "PILOT"
Logline: "Producer David Wilder has just been assigned to revamp the dwindling sitcom 'BRUCE & JILL.' On his first day, the director dies, a new state-of-art camera is broken, and the actors go on strike. Nobody ever said show business was easy." |
|
HOME SWEETE HOME: "PILOT" (CO-WRITTEN BY ELANA PISANI)
Logline: "When Trina gets laid off again, she moves in with her sister Rose's family, the Sweete family. But sibling rivalry soon rears its head when the kids fawn over their Aunt Trina, forcing a jealous Rose to put on her best 'cool mom' impersonation." |
SKETCH COMEDY:Written while in various comedy writing courses, the following skits range from blind dates with deities to inappropriate birthday presents, and answer such perennial questions as "Who paid the bill at the Last Supper?" Read. Laugh. And Enjoy... Or else!
